Rice and Breadfruit

Breadfruit is in season again, this is the second time for the year. If we would pick and process it, if only to use it for livestock feed, we could probably cut down on the wheat/rice import bill and dependency.

I want to get some ole time hill rice to try an experimental bed. Just to see how it comes out.

The corn is doing OK, but it is suffering from too much water. The rain is really taking a toll on the other plants as well.

Bodi is being eaten by the birds, heck everyting is being eaten by the birds and some insect or other. Organic is not viable for commercial production.

Sickier is coming along well.

Need to make a professional tree climber friend.

Heh heh.

clan mentality

When things go wrong, Trinidadians resort to clan mentality. It was one of the most infuriating things I found when I returned. Everyone asks you so is XX your family? Forget individuality, someone will judge you because of what your grandfather did to his father.

Between that and a commissioner of police who can't secure his own house, we are doomed to self destruct, sooner rather than later.
